CENSUS 2000 JOURNEY TO WORK/PLACE OF WORK

Census Journey to Work - U.S. Census Bureau, has created three data sets by place of work and place of residence:

• 1. Total number of workers commuting between counties of residence and counties of work for 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000
• 2. Commuting patterns between states of residence and states of work by detailed industry in 2000 (includes average wage)
• 3. Commuting patterns between counties of work and counties of residence by major industry for 2000 (includes average wage)
